The Wizardess goes Antiquing..
Treasure Hunting in the mists of the old..
Beautifully Spooky...enchantment from the past
Haunted Antiques...
The presence of old souls ....still waiting
Quiet Ghosts..
Magical faces...carved in wood
( I came back for this gem..then it suddenly disappeared..
hmmm...curious..must have been a Ghost Chair!)
Charming secrets
Deep Black magic of Victorian times...photo-blurring again
( this old soul's portrait..refused to be taken!)
Floating heads...
secret stories on a wall of tears
( the wizardess took this one and gave it a home)
spirits rocking on a old weathered chair
Cabinets carrying old potions and spells
Another Blurry Ghost Settee all in Royal blue
a talking picture...whispering from a dark wall
Charmed colored lights hanging from above
Lonely sullen chairs weeping in solitude
waiting for you to sit upon them..
and journey into dreams
from another time and space
a wall of mirrors and golden frames
waiting to trick you into their portals..
*
The Wizardess made a lucky escape
and found her way back home!
I hope you enjoyed
Antiquing with the Wizardess
*
Thankyou for joining me...
All these beautiful antiques..are not haunted at all..of course..
but they do cast a spell of charm and beauty in their own way!
*
I love exploring creations of the past..
and admire the wonderful character and history in old things!
*
I love Treasure Hunting and finding a Special Soul
to take home every now and then.
I love giving Old Forgotten Souls a new home..
*
I love to clean them all up and take care of them
and bring back the shine they deserve!
*
Such beautiful spirits of the past..they will surely be here on earth..
even longer than I !!
Antiques outlive us all.
That is kinda spooky!
Heart of a Wizardess

This photo series( although quite blurry)
was taken while antiquing in Ontario, Canada.
I love visiting this portal of the past..room after room, floor after floor..
a maze of magic treasures..a great way to spend the day!

What a fun tour of this amazing store. I saw some beautiful things through your captured photos. I so agree with you. I love to reclaim old forgetten or discarded items and give them a new home.
Have a terrific day!
What a wonderful store. It's true that so many things will outlive us. Maybe we leave something of our essence behind with the things we used to love. A bit sad, really.
Kiki, are you kidding me? I have that very painting! My mum has had it for years and years, and a few months ago asked me if I would like it? It is still hanging at her house, but I intend to find a special place for it here...you are indeed my kindred sister friend - oh, and the antiques are all beautiful...such stories they tell - I believe that was a wishing chair you spied (did you read Enid Blyton as a child like me?)
Hi Kiki,
I love antiques too...I have always insisted on living in very old homes due to the energy of the souls before me still lingering. I couldn't find an old home hanging of a mountain ridge though so I had to settle for a house only 10 years old. I do know that one day someone will live here and "I" will be the soul that they are happily co-existing with! There will certainly be mystery in the little things that may turn pink or white..heehee
I've been absent in blogland so much and I've missed so many events. I didn't know about spooky Monday so am not linked up with a post but I do have a post with another bear siting!
I hope you are having a lovely Autumn day...oh, and that first and last photo of the red chair is definitely fit for a Queen of {Dreamsz} ♥

I have always loved the charm and intrigue that old things have. I am very fortunate to love all things antique and enchanted. Thank you for sharing such a lovely place. Happy Haunting...
What beautiful furniture, Kiki! Enjoyed your vignette too and it reminded me of a story I read in the newspaper this a.m. about a couple who live in an former elementary school house. It's haunted but the spirits are friendly to them. Have a great week!

I just love browsing antique stores. And I love to imagine the life each object had before coming to rest where I can gaze in awe at it's beauty.
I love that hanging light. Those lamp shades are beautiful!!
Wow Kiki you have captured the essence of these beautiful antiques...they all tell their own story as only pre loved pieces can...Thank you for coming over to visit...Dzintra♥x
Dearest Kiki, thank you for taking me (again) on a trip to a place full of magic and wonderful make believe... "a wall of tears..." So romantic and sad. Love it! Everything was absolutely gorgeous and the moved photos lent a special touch. Have a beautiful day my sweet friend XO
Wonderful! Used to go into antique stores with mom as a kid and loved it ... I would imagine myself in old fashioned clothes and being back in time ... I was in a way. Fun way to time time travel!
Great post Kiki!!! Have a beautiful day!

Hi Kiki, I love, love, LOVE all this furniture! Some of it looks like my own! I don't think my house is very spooky but I do love the gothic look I must say. :) xx

Hello dear Kiki......I, too, love old things....and you have shown up some really beautiful antiques....glad you took something home. I believe as you do that everything has a story and some sort of energy that it imparts from pervious owners.
Great post.
Jo
I love, love, LOVE antiquing. It's one of my very favorite things to do. Of course my favorite antique/vintage item would be jewelry, but lately I've been into the large, ornate frames with intricate details. I also just picked up a lovely display cabinet for a steal; planning on redoing it during colder months. Wished we lived closer; we could do some damage :-) Thanks for sharing your experience with us - I felt as if I could be there...S
I am in Heaven looking at all that gorgeous furniture. I am in love. I would like to take home all those lovely pieces and hang them on my walls. Yes I admit, I have a love of hanging furniture on my walls. You took the most amazing pictures. You have also created such a wonderfully whimsical story to go with all the pieces. I could almost see a family sitting on that couch and two lovers sitting on another one.
Happy Spooky Monday
