Beautiful Victoria! I totally love the romantic look of your cup. What a gorgeous color! And the gold trims/designs really give a rich elegance to it. I am sorry it has been broken. I will try to keep an eye out for this one. I am watching out for one I broke as well.
My favorite cup is a aqua Paragon.
What a treat to have beautiful cups!
Hugs,
Terri

How sad to lose a favourite teacup, especially since this was also a treasured heirloom. I'll keep my eye out for a replacement in my local second-hand/antique establishments. Hopefully between myself and all your other readers, one will be found :)

What a bummer!!!
I broke the saucers into a million pieces that went to my favorite english teacup ... little cherries and other berries. Broke my other favorite cup with little blue birds ... I totally get it. I will throw some good juju your way for finding another favorite!

big hugs for 2013!

What a gorgeous teacup! How sad it was broken. I have a family piece that my husband broke the cup. I still treasure the saucer to keep my rings and watch in by my bedside, as it is still precious to me. I hope someone has another for you...alas, I do not. But I'll be looking!
Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea.

Ahhh I'm so sorry your teacup got broken. I'll keep an eye out for one for you.

I have a favourite teaset called Dainty Miss. It's not rare but I love its prettiness.

It was a beauty! If I ever come across one, I will let you know. I haunt the estate sales and flea markets frequently, so one may turn up. I do enjoy tea time!

Happy New Year, Victoria! I am so happy to have you join me for tea and I especially love your teacup! Love the colour as it's one of my favourites. I have only one Aynsley teacup myself but it is not the lovely aqua colour. I hope you are able to replace it.

Blessings,
Sandi

That is such a gorgeous color!

that is quite upsetting when it happens. I will keep my eyes open for that as sometimes I come across things like that in charity shops. I once came across a beautiful pastel yellow Art Nouveau style tea cups in a charity shop and I regretted not buying it for myself as I still think about it from time to time ....

What an amazing set of photos! You tell such a great story and I can almost hear the ladies muttering demurely as they drink their tea. But how sad... did it break? I hope you find a replacement!
